Window Treatments Run in Our Family
I’m Tom Shinn, the third generation of my family to work in the window treatment industry. I grew up putting together sample books with my dad and siblings at our family’s factory. My father and grandmother helped guide me as I learned the trade and eventually opened my own business.
Since starting The Shutter Factory in 2018, I’ve carried those family lessons into my work. I take the time to understand what you want for your home, walk you through your options and get the fit right. My family taught me that taking care of customers matters just as much as knowing the product.
